Members of the Community Music School faculty come together to perform an array of chamber music and other works. This annual event offers the community a unique glimpse into the wealth of talent and experience of the Music School’s faculty as they collaborate on a wide variety of selections. The concert is free and open to the public!
Among the works to be performed Claude Bolling’s Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio with Helene Rosenblatt (flute) and Patrice Newman (piano), selections played by new CMS guitar faculty member Emilio Garcia, and works by Brahms played by trombone instructor Adam Myers.
The program will conclude with a tribute to the legendary jazz pianist Chick Corea in a new arrangement by CMS Music Director Tom Briggs.
