Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, cellist Tom Hudson earned a Bachelors degree from Drake University, in Des Moines, and a Masters degree from the Juilliard School in New York. He has also studied with William Pleeth, in London, and spent several summers at the Aspen Music School. He has performed in the Jacksonville Symphony, the Spoleto Festival, and the New York Philharmonic. Currently, he is a very active performer and teacher in the Connecticut area playing in the New Haven and Hartford Symphonies, and maintaining a busy private teaching studio.
Tom teaches on Wednesdays.
