ALLISON LANDSTEDT, soprano, is the distinguished vocalist of the United States Coast Guard Band, where she serves as the ensemble’s sole vocalist. Renowned for her exceptional versatility, Landstedt brings mastery and stylistic authenticity to a wide range of genres—from Broadway and opera to contemporary commercial music.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Music in Voice from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice from the University of British Columbia.
A nationally recognized performer, Landstedt’s televised solo performance at Yankee Stadium reached millions of viewers across the country. She has performed for high-ranking United States government officials—including the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard—as well as Fortune 500 executives and distinguished audiences nationwide.
As a dynamic and devoted voice instructor, Landstedt brings both technical precision and creative energy to her teaching. Her students have been accepted into prestigious university programs in opera and musical theatre, won leading roles in professional companies across the U.S. and Canada, and earned top honors in vocal, acting, and choral competitions. She is celebrated for fostering confident, expressive singers through a holistic approach that unites technique, artistry, and individuality.
