Erin Wyman is an accomplished musician on both piano and clarinet. She teaches weekly private lessons to students of all ages, accompanies the Lyme/Old Lyme school choirs and serves as a vocal coach for high school musicals. From 1998-2002 she taught instrumental, choral, and general music in the Canterbury, CT public schools before the birth of her sons. As a clarinetist, she has performed professionally with the Champaign-Urbana (IL), Danville (IL), and Illinois Festival Symphony Orchestras. As a pianist/accompanist, she has frequently accompanied professional and student musicians in IL, NY, and CT. From 2014-2023 she was the music director at Noank Baptist Church, playing piano, organ and clarinet in services as well as directing the children’s choir. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam in clarinet, piano, and music education and a Master of Music degree from the University of Illinois in clarinet performance.
