CMS offers a variety of summer music programs for a wide range of ages! The 2022 Summer Session runs from June 20st through August 20th. We offer private lessons on most instruments, Broadway Beginner and Broadway Bound 2 week Musical Theater Programs, and ensembles.
Remember there is no registration fee for summer programs and you may take as many or as few private lessons as you want.
Summer Savings apply for 4-packs of lessons* as follows:
30 Minute lesson 4-PACK- Schedule 4 for $152 ($38 per lesson)
45 Minute lesson 4-PACK-Schedule 4 for $228 ($57 per lesson)
60 Minute lesson 4-PACK- Schedule 4 for $300 ($75 per lesson)
Single private lesson rates are $40 for 30 minutes, $59 for 45 minutes, and $78 for 60 minutes.
*There are NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS for missed lessons and dates may not be rescheduled. 4-PACK Lessons must be scheduled for consecutive summer term weeks, at the same time each week to receive the 4-PACK price.
Classes may be delayed or canceled if sufficient enrollment is not reached. Summer registration is accepted for accounts in good standing (paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan).
A limited number of scholarships are available in the summer on a first-come, first-served basis. You can download the application here.
Private Music Lessons
Our 9-week summer session offers flexible scheduling with no minimum or maximum number of lessons required. Lesson time slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and payment is due at the time of registration. Private lessons are offered for most instruments during summer session Current students are not obligated to enroll in the summer session. SUMMER TUITION: 30-minute lessons = $38 per lesson; 45-minute lessons = $57 per lesson; 60-minute lessons = $75 per lesson. SUMMER SAVINGS: 30-minute lesson 4-pack: $144; 45-minute lesson 4-pack: $216. Senior citizen discount offered for students age 65+. July 26-30, 2021, Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm; Ages 8-16, $225 Westbrook High School, 156 McVeagh Road, Westbrook
This one-week (morning) in-person program provides safe, in-person music theatre instruction, games, and fun. Led by accomplished music theatre directors Joni Gage and Anastasia Littlefield, students sing and choreograph pop songs, develop acting and music skills, and work on popular songs from stage and screen! A final presentation (Friday 7/30 at 11 am) shares the fun with family and friends. Following strict Covid safety protocols, this program at Westbrook High School alternates instruction and activities between outdoor and large indoor spaces (auditorium).
