
Jackie has performed professionally throughout Connecticut and New York and her experience spans genres from musical theatre to light opera to choral, church, and orchestral music. Jackie attended Hartt School of Music where she designed the first musical theatre curriculum at Hartt in conjunction with the University of Hartford Drama department. She went on to earn her degree in Piano Performance/Musical Theatre from Manhattanville College. For her senior thesis, Jackie wrote, cast, directed, and accompanied the first “all music” presentation entitled “Autumn In New York — a musical journey”.
Jackie has conducted numerous pit orchestras and musical theatre casts for Regional, Summer Stock, Dinner, and Community Theatre, including light opera productions. Jackie also performs regularly in pit orchestras throughout CT schools, and serves as accompanist for many CT school and community choir concerts.
Jackie is an experienced vocal coach and piano instructor and works with students and adults alike, both privately and in a classroom setting. Jackie is also an accomplished Church musician and serves as organist and choir director throughout CT.
Jackie is a member of the American Guild of Organists and American Federation of Musicians.
Jackie teachers Thursdays and Saturdays.
