Joey has been Business Manager at CMS since 2022 and manages the school’s finances, human resources, and operations, while also providing program and administrative support. He graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of the Arts in both Political Science and Theater, then moved to New York City and taught dance and gymnastics at a preschool in Brooklyn. He soon became the school’s Team manager, then Preschool Director where he managed all day-to-day aspects of a busy school. Upon moving out of the city to eastern Connecticut he began instructing dance in varying styles to both the youth and adult communities of the Southeastern portion of the state which he continues to this day after fulfilling his daily duties of being the Business Manager for the Community Music School.
