Music Lessons, Ensembles, and Classes in Centerbrook, CT

Learning music is much like learning a language. Here’s how to get good at it:

  1. Attend concerts of top/pro musicians. Regularly. This will allow you to develop an “target” of what you’re trying to do/sound like! (Much like, when learning a language, listening to “native” speakers is essential!)
  2. Take weekly lessons with a really good teacher; one who’s a pro on your instrument/voice. They’ll help your attain, as much as possible, your goals! Lessons also give you regular opportunities to “speak with a native speaker.”
  3. Practice every day. Practicing 15 minutes every day is much better than practicing 2 hours once per week!
See you soon,
