Financial Aid

Through the generosity of many friends of Community Music School, area organizations and businesses, and fundraisers held throughout the year, we are able to offer financial aid to students who require assistance.

CMS offers partial support through the CMS Scholarship Fund for students of any age and ability level with financial need, including preschoolers and adults.

Most awards do not exceed 70% of tuition and are based on family income.

We expect students who receive financial assistance to demonstrate strong motivation, good attendance, and commitment to lessons. Scholarships are available for private lessons and most groups and ensembles. Click here to download an application.

Applications for Fall 2026 financial aid are due August 14, Sept 15, 2026.  Aid awards are for the full academic year.  New applications for Spring 2027 semester can be submitted until December 31, 2026.
