Where Young Musicians Take Their First Bow
Every great musical journey begins with a first note, and Twinkle Together makes that first step fun, encouraging, and filled with joy.
Designed for children ages 6–9, this beginning violin class introduces young musicians to the instrument in a playful, supportive group environment where confidence grows right alongside musical skills. No prior experience is needed!
Students learn the fundamentals of violin step by step, including how to hold the instrument and bow with ease, develop healthy playing posture, read simple music, and build strong listening skills.
Through engaging music games, movement, and ensemble activities, children strengthen coordination, focus, teamwork, and creativity while experiencing the excitement of making music with others. Along the way, they’ll make new friends, celebrate small successes, and discover the confidence that comes from learning something new together.

FACULTY FOR THIS PROGRAM | Brenna Cox
Violinist Brenna Cox is an accomplished performer and dedicated educator with extensive experience teaching students ages 4 through adult. She offers both Suzuki-based and individualized instruction, and has led private lessons and large Suzuki group classes of up to twenty students. Brenna has served on faculty at Merit School of Music, City Strings of Chicago, and Music & Arts of Leesburg, VA. She holds a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy and is committed to creating a supportive, structured environment that helps each student grow with confidence and musical curiosity.
