Essex hometown favorite and veteran Broadway Music Director Todd Ellison returns to The Kate with friends from Broadway for an unforgettable afternoon of music — all to benefit two organizations close to his heart: Community Music School and Essex Veterans Memorial Hall.

Hailed by The New York Times as one of Broadway’s “Electric Conductors,” Todd Ellison’s award-winning career spans Broadway, Carnegie Hall, and symphonies worldwide. A proud Connecticut native and CMS board member, he brings extraordinary artistry and deep community connection to the stage.
Broadway star Ross Lekites brings world-class talent to Community Music School! A veteran of Frozen, Tina, Kinky Boots, The Music Man, and Parade, Ross has also appeared in Schmigadoon, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Wicked, and Frozen 2. He’s performed with major orchestras worldwide and is a proud dad of two.
Shannon Rugani is a powerhouse singer-songwriter, composer, and producer blending pop, electronic, and classical music. A former San Francisco Ballet dancer and original Broadway cast member of An American in Paris, she brings rare depth to every note. Her recent work includes new ballet scores, film, and motherhood.
