This one-week (morning) in-person program is for students age 8 to 16 and provides safe, in-person music theatre instruction, games, and fun. Led by accomplished music theatre directors Joni Gage and Anastasia Littlefield, students sing and choreograph pop songs, develop acting and music skills, and work on popular songs from stage and screen!
Following strict Covid safety protocols, this program at Westbrook High School alternates instruction and activities between outdoor and large indoor spaces (auditorium). Students are masked and distanced at all times.
9-9:40 vocal warmups, singing (outdoors).
9:50-10:20 music/singing rehearsal (auditorium).
10:25-10:35 mask/snack break (outdoors)
10:35-11:05 acting games (outdoors)
11:05-11:30 Choreography workshop (auditorium)
11:30-12:00 acting workshop (auditorium)
A final musical review-style presentation will showcase students’ work to family and friends, either in-person in the auditorium (limited size, distanced audience), or via livestream.
