Mus M, Boston.University; B.S. in Ed; Hofstra U.; Pi Kappa Lambda. Founder and director of Blackledgemusic, Inc. Helene Rosenblatt currently performs with Blackledgemusic, Inc., founded and is Artistic Director of the Connecticut Flute Orchestra. She has performed with the Connecticut Virtuosi Orchestra, The Opera Company of Boston, the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, the Central Massachusetts Symphony, the New England Women’s Symphony, and the “Y” Orchestra in New York. She formed, managed, and played with Ensemble di Vento (NY) and Charles River Chamber Players (Cambridge, MA), Blackledgemusic,Inc.(CT) For years she was a freelance performer and teacher in Boston and Assistant to the Director of The South Shore Conservatory of Music. Her teachers included William Fred Heim (NY Philharmonic); James Pappoutsakis (Boston Symphony), Christopher Krueger (Handel and Haydn Society and Boston Baroque), Ransom Wilson (Yale), and Master Class with Marcel Moyse. Helene currently lives and performs in Connecticut. She is a retired Computer Security Engineer and holds CISSP, CISA, and CRISC certifications.
